The images in this gallery are an attempt to explore the inner landscape of the mind. The most clear cut examples of that inner landscape are found in fantasies and in dreams. Dreams were called by Freud "…the royal road to the unconscious…" but fantasies may serve that function as well.

So much of what we do is motivated and generated by unconscious wishes, desires, fears, and conflicts. But fantasies and dreams are many layered and complex, as we are. While we may know the superficial picture the the fantasy or the dream paints, we cannot interpret that surface and we do not know where it will lead as its pathways, images, and elements are explored. So, these images are not the end of the journey, they are just the beginning. I hope they begin to resonate with you and suggest some pathways you may follow.
